Each year in October, we turn our focus to serving and making a difference in the name of Jesus.  We will have various mission projects for you to serve and give back to our community throughout the month.  We hope you will make plans to Do Something!

Champions of Hope Walk
Saturday, October 20 at the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine
Join Team Covenant for the Sandi McCool Champions of Hope Walk/Run to raise money and awareness about the importance of early detection and intervention.  Champions of Hope is a 5K, 10K and half marathon competitive race, and 1-mile Spirit walk.  Click here to register.

Meals of Hope – Meal Packing Event
Wednesday, October 24 at 6 pm in the CLC Gym, Dothan Campus
Don’t miss this special MD/WK service as we worship together, have a devotion, then package meals for #CovDoSomething.  Our goal is to pack 30,000 meals to distribute locally through the Wiregrass Area Food Bank.  Children accompanied by an adult are welcome.

Work Day at The Ark
Saturday, October 27 from 8 am – 12 noon at the Ark
Handy guys and gals are needed to help with a construction project at The Ark (men’s shelter).  We will be helping to frame new apartment units on the 3rd floor.

Sunday, October 28 from 4-5:30 pm, Dothan Campus
Your family is invited to join us for some fall fun!  There will be seasonal treats, pumpkin decorating, costume contest, candy, bounce houses and more.  Be on the lookout for more information coming soon.

Operation Christmas Child T-shirt Jump Rope Making
Monday, October 29 from 5:30-7:30 pm in the Fellowship Hall (Dothan Campus)
We are collecting t-shirts to be used to make jump rope for our shoeboxes.  Each jump rope takes 3 t-shirts to make.  Please leave your gently used t-shirt donations in any of the Operation Christmas Child collection boxes on campus and join us October 29 to make jump ropes.
