Bobbi Lassiter

Associate Pastor

Rev. Bobbi Lassiter is passionate about connecting spaces to help others intentionally do life together, grow spiritually with one another, and support each other in life’s faith journey. She holds an AA in Elementary Education from Gulf Coast Community College, a BS in Social Sciences from Florida State University, and a Master’s in Youth Ministry from Asbury Theological Seminary. During her decade-long ministry career, she has served the communities of St. Andrews UMC, Port St. Joe FUMC, East Mt. Zion UMC, Ozark FUMC, and Christ United in Mobile.

Kyle Gatlin

Senior Pastor

Kyle came to Covenant in 1999 after serving as Pastor of churches in Blountstown, Florida, and Montgomery, AL. He has been married to Deandra since 1991 (Kyle wanted this in his bio so he wouldn’t forget the year). They have a daughter, Jordan, and a son, Sterling, who, along with his wife, the former Amy Brooks – have two boys – Brooks and Wells. Kyle was named Senior Pastor of Covenant on August 17, 2022, after Dr. Hays McKay lost his three-year battle with cancer on July 16, 2022. In his off time, Kyle is a football/baseball official with AHSAA, feeds horses most every morning, and enjoys spending time with his grandsons and their cars.
